Once a two-screen neighbourhood movie theatre, the Elmdale Theatre closed its doors in 1996. Had it made it another decade, it might have garnered a renewed lease on life, as this area has subsequently cleaned up quite a bit and could certainly use access to a movie theatre now.
I snuck into and saw my first AA film here.
