Camera: Pentax 6x7, 55mm SMC Takumar lens. Rue Eddy, Gatineau, QC.
I have slowly begun to discover that the old City of Hull, the downtown of Gatineau, actually has a few charms to it. One however, is not its nightlife. Despite its reputation as Ottawa's speakeasy during the prohibition years, our neighbour on the Quebec side of the river is not noted for its lively nights any longer.
Or lively days either, as we discovered.

The two cars parked serve to underline the empty spaces. Canada had prohibition too? I thought we were the only ones dumb enough to attempt that experiment. And didn't we smuggle in a bunch of your whisky during our prohibition?

Hey, you were there. I'm sure it livened up then. :) Really nice night capture, fine tones and detail.
