Camera: Pentax 6x7, f3.5 55mm SMC Takumar lens. Rue Eddy, Gatineau, QC.
The E.B. Eddy plant is one of the two remaining pulp and paper operations in the Ottawa area, harekning back to a time when Ottawa was a gritty mill town, rather than a sedate government city. The days of these operations are numbered, as the federal government has expressed an interest in acquiring the lands it sits on, to free up these islands for tourist use/mind numbingly boring parkland.
A wonderful night capture. I can imagine how it looks much better at night with the lights. You even managed to get a wonderful reflection on the water.
