Camera: Pentax Spotmatic F, f1.8 55mm SMC Takumar lens. Wellington and Albert, Ottawa, ON.
This is another section of Wellington Street that was abandoned, presumably when the Lebreton Flats were expropriated and levelled in the mid 1960s. Gone is another meandering street, taking you through the original settlements in the Ottawa area, replaced with an attempt to fuse several streets together, to make sure that cars can get in (and more likely out) of downtown efficiently.
Nice, love the lone figure walking away from the camera. This is my kind of place.

Seems isolated and yet seeing the person walking it has a feeling of being familiar with a place. There are places that come to my mind where I feel that way. Others wouldn't care for those places, but because they feel familiar to me from years ago, they're okay places. You know?
