One of ther performers we were able to see at a show we went to last night specialized in doing dances associated wsith the gauchos - the equivalent of cowboya, who work the estanchas where the cattle are raised. In this scene, the gaucho is spinning two bollos - lengths of rope with three leads that have rawhide balls at the end - and beating them percussively on the floor, reaching amazing tempos. I've never been so impressed by a dancer!
Funny, in college we traveled to your country quite a bit to see the dancers.
Nice shot, I love how the ropes are clearly moving, but you caught him quite still. Also, it looks like the lighting there was extremely difficult to work with.
