Just as with many other cities, Vancouver has undergone a massive condo boom downtown. While there's no doubt that much of the architecture is attractive. However, as you might guess, it also obscures some views of the mountains.
The church is likely a condo, or soon to be one !

A bit depressing. All the cities in North America will soon be one giant condo tower. Although they do have a tendency to add life to downtowns. Anyway, in the shot, they contrast nicely with the mountains in the distance.

Very good shot. Looks quite a bit like the forest of condos sprouting in Uptown Dallas, actually. They're not blocking any views though unless you like looking at eternally wide freeways and other buildings.
