Camera: Ansco Memar. Parliament and Dundas.

On Monday I was walking along Queen Street East, with my trusty PEntax Spotmatic on hand. I stopped at Moss Park to look for camera equipment. I did happen to see a couple of things, but the biggest standout was an old Rangefinder. Unfortunately te guy wanted $20 for it. Not knowing for sure whether it was functional, I passed.

However, I went by on Wednesday, feeling slightly regretful that I didn't try to haggle. Lo and behold, I somehow talked the guy down to $12 from $20, and am now the owner of an Ansco Memar, ca. 1953! This is from the first roll of film I shot. It's not technically perfect, but I like the quality of the lens, even if it isn't a pro camera.
